King Daniels Art
Ashieka Daniels, artist, writer and producer, will perform two of her original literary works, “Wake Up My People” and “Hold On My Soul" at the "Our Duty to Fight" exhibition by Black Lives Matter. These works have been presented in multiple mediums (canvas, sculpture and photography) and performed live in university venues, art studios and on radio. Her spoken word captures the spirit behind Black Lives Matter and is another voice of affirmation of “Black folks’ contributions to this society, our humanity, and our resilience in the face of deadly opposition.”
King Daniels Art is currently showcasing the solo art exhibition Hold On My Soul. It is available for exhibit or loan to art museums locally, nationally and internationally. Original works of art are for sale and custom pieces can be commissioned for private collectors. The artist is also available to perform readings of her literary works or full theatrical productions.
